Ballygunner Hurling Club is saddened to hear of the sad passing of Charlie Lapthorne whose contribution to our club over many years cannot be measured. A true gentleman, Charlie was a great friend to so many in Ballygunner. He will be sorely missed but always remembered with great fondness.

We extend our sympathies to Mary, Fiona, Cormac, Darragh, grandchildren and extended family.

Charlie’s Requiem Mass at 12.00 tomorrow (Wednesday) in St Mary ‘s Ballygunner will be live streamed.
