Acknowledgements
County Players & Officials To all of our playing members and officials that have represented the county during 2020, congratulations on your achievements.
Sponsorship The income from our sponsors forms an essential part of the Executives ability to finance operations within the club and indeed without that financial support our team preparations and other activities would be seriously curtailed.
I would like to thank our Senior Club Sponsor Eddie and Trish Walsh of STS Group (Specialist Technical Services) for their support in 2020 and indeed all our sponsors and benefactors for their generosity they have shown to our club over the years. Ballygunner is deeply appreciative of the financial support we have received from our sponsors. There is no doubt without the input of sponsorship; modern day sport would find itself in a serious financial state. Here in Ballygunner we are extremely lucky to have a number of companies and individuals willing to back our teamsand club. We wish our sponsors continuous success in business for 2021.
Ladies Committee Thanks to our ladies committee and especially Catherine O Keeffe for the way they looked after catering for our teams and members in 2020. We are truly indebted to have such a dedicated ladies committee in our club.
Delegates
I would like to thank the delegates from the club who gave up their spare time to attend Eastern Board, County Board and all affiliated meetings during the year, especially our county Board Delegate Jim O’Keeffe and eastern board delegate Eoin Tallon.
Conclusion
In conclusion I would like to thank the officers for their help throughout the year. I would especially like to thank my assistant secretary Eoin Tallon for all hisassistance during the year. I would also like to congratulate An Cathaoirleach Gerry Cullinane whose enthusiasm and drive is purely for the betterment of Ballygunner Hurling club. To the members of The Executive Committee thank you for your hard work and dedication throughout the year.
We can look back at 2020 with pride and satisfaction and hope the experiences will give us the encouragement and confidence to face the challenges both on and off the field for the year ahead. Again, my sincere thanks to all club members for all your help and co-operation in 2020 and to our loyal supporters who have followed our teams throughout the years and hopefully will be able to do again in the near future. Also, thanks to everyone whosupports our various fundraising events.
My appreciation also to our volunteers within the club whose dedication is what makes our club special.
Many great club members and friends have passed to their eternal reward throughout the course of 2020. We mourn their passing and on behalf of the club I wish to convey the sympathy and condolences to all bereaved relatives and friends of those who passed away during the year.
Wishing all our members at home and abroad the very best for 2021, please stay safe and healthy.
